Hong Park Tae Kwon Do College is very proud of our facility!  Built in 2014, the school increased our training space by 5 times, provided more comfort for our students, and provided a better viewing area for parents.

The Hong Park Tae Kwon Do dojang.
Do means “the way” or “art” and jang means “a place”, which makes dojang (도장) the place where one practices the way. In this case – the way of Tae Kwon Do.

Students will sign-in for their classes using a barcoded tag system that records their training sessions, and helps us identify the consistency of their training, which helps evaluating their performance before promotional testing.

Parents and families can wait in our viewing area, where there is seating isolated from the training floor. This keeps noise and distraction from the viewing area from interrupting students during their training time.

Our main training floor is one of the largest in Canada, and is fully covered with a high quality training floor system of foam to help minimize injury, while providing a stable floor to maximize training effort.

For smaller classes like our Little Tigers Program, we have a second dojang floor above our lobby area. This space allows additional practice space, a fitness area, and is used for Grandmaster’s Ki Chun classes.

No matter what part of the Facility we’re training in – we’re always under the watchful eye of Grandmaster!
